Brauhaus Pirna Zum Giesser in Pirna

We came especially for the gin, then wanted to have a bite to eat for lunch, which we then found was a real gourmet temple. The staff at this restaurant is phenomenal and the food incredibly tasty. We actually had half board in the hotel, but canceled it after the "snack" and came back for dinner the next evening. I can tell you a festival. The food is of high quality and everything is perfectly coordinated. If we are in the area again, we would like to come back. They have a really great restaurant!

Good food and delicious home-brewed beer, lots of space inside and plenty of parking. Beer garden and a small chapel are waiting outside.

The staff was very friendly and the drinks and food were quickly on the spot. All the dishes we ordered tasted great and the portions were big enough for everyone. There was nothing to complain about and the price-performance ratio was great!

If you want to drink super good beer and also feast on hearty and really home-style cooking, this is the place for you. Fast service, portions that really fill you up and a variety of great beers. Price / performance is right.

Our opinion the best restaurant in Pirna. Totally friendly and courteous service. Even when the restaurant is full, the well-being of the guest is always taken care of. Very good kitchen. We recommend!

The knuckle was once again (as always) really tasty! Criticism because it is very annoying: the station hall character and the annoying, loud noise level when you cannot sit outside. We were lucky enough to be able to sit in one of the side rooms - pleasant! Staff very friendly. We would love to come back, especially in summer when we can sit outside. Tips for the operator: there are ways to 'calm down' this large room with an appropriate wall design!

We found the Pirna Brewery "Zum Giesser" when we were looking for a place to stay with our mobile home. At park4night we found a nice invitation. The brewery not only impresses with its beautiful interior, but also with the delicious beer and excellent food. Questions about specific beers were explained in a very entertaining way by the specialist staff. The distillery is located in the courtyard. The spirits, some of which have been awarded DLG awards, can be tasted and are convincing. We would be happy to come back.

The positive first: the food was very tasty; nice ambience. When it comes to service, however, we can only say: Impossible! After 1 hour we asked where our food was going; it was forgotten. Not a word of apology from our waitress. After another 45 minutes of waiting our food finally came. The lady wanted to acknowledge our entire meal (+ 2 drinks); we would have finished eating after all. After making it clear that we will not be paying the entire bill, she claimed to speak to the service manager. 10 minutes later she came back with the statement that we had to pay for everything. We then wanted to speak to the service manager personally. He heard about our incident for the first time and at least waived the 2nd drink rounds and apologized. We will definitely not recommend this location!

We were there recently. Despite corona everything was great. Super nice staff and great beer. Great food. Pork knuckle top hard to create. Also the sauerbraten. We also brought home-made quince and currant spirit to take home Super nice evening

The staff was attentive, the food was amazing and so filling! Large portions so come on an empty stomach! Enjoyed the dark beer they had! Great atmosphere!

I was able to reserve at short notice on a Saturday. I preferred to sit inside although there was still space outside. Really nice location and the beer is really delicious, there is something for everyone. The food is rustic, nothing really special but sufficient. But you don't even have the right to expect, you should just feel good. And that fits!

Cozy beer garden. The homemade beer is really great. Three different types are on offer. We made a reservation by phone and got our table immediately and without any problems. The waiting time until the first drink was above average. The food was good and plentiful, the service friendly. Generally recommended.

The food was super tasty and came pretty quickly after ordering. When the food came it was warm and also very generous in terms of quantity. The staff is super friendly. Since there were a lot of guests, but it was not uncomfortable, I would recommend a reservation.

The brewed beers and the barrel showers offered were very tasty. My wife's goulash was also very good. My schnitzel dish could have been more tender.

We were very satisfied again. Called and reserved in the beer garden an hour and a half in advance, the waitresses were all super friendly and always present. The food was great. We are not used to anything else. Always come back here on every vacation 😉

Great beer, great food, great service in Pirna. Each town should have a local brewery. Luckily for Pirna, this milestone has been achieved.

Wonderful German Brewery! Good food and drinks and the staff is super.

Typical German restaurant and brewhouse with typical germn meals, many kinds of meat, tasty and quality is alright. Its a little bit big in the atmosphäre, but although this is typical for brewhouse restaurants in Germany. Good place for Lunch during a trip to the Saxon Schwitzerland.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Good dishes and decent prices. A nice, clean and comfortable place. Their home-brew artisan beers are fantastic. The dish selection should be more varied. You can watch the upcoming football matches on the projector canvas.

Similar experience to a previous patron. I asked if seats were available and was told to sit anywhere. Every table had a reserved tag on it even though less than half the tables were occupied. I sat down and waited for 30 minutes before leaving. I should have been suspicious when I witnessed the entire wait staff in a fight when I arrived. It’s a shame. The beers and the food sounded great on the menu.

Great beer and delicious meals with mostly German cuisine. Definitely worth a visit!

Good food. Reasonable price. For a family of four we paid 53 euro. The service is scarce since there are too few waiters on too many tables.
